After many months of planning a trip back to South Africa, it has FINALLY been CONFIRMED. On Friday 13th July at 14.10pm I'll be sitting on a plane heading for Durban, where I shall be spending two weeks at the children's home, DESTINY HOUSE, a week at a PREGNANCY HOME and a week working for a charity called SEED OF HOPE who again work with people in the community. I'm also hoping to pay a visit back to PROJECT-O one weekend and see some of those AMAZING children in The Valley.
I have been a little HESITANT about going this year, I think because in 2010 when I went I knew my sister and brother in law were living out there and it was COMFORTING knowing I'd have them around. This year they won't be there and even though my brother in laws folks will be there I feel like I will be completely alone. But as I was thinking and worrying about it one day I told myself not to be so stupid and to just get on with it. It is an AMAZING opportunity and experience and one I know I'd REGRET if I didn't do it. So, out came the credit card and a few clicks and entering of details were made a final nod was given and POW I have an empty bank account and FLIGHTS for an UNFORGETTABLE experience.
